Step into a world of tranquility at Damo, Ichiban Restaurant’s Japanese-style banquet room seating up to 48 people. You’ll immediately relax as you enter this modern and inviting refuge, accented by cherry blossoms and a traditional rock garden. In this soothing Zen-like space, you’ll find an intimate private venue for your special occasion, be it a corporate event, birthday party, holiday celebration or off-site business meeting. You may also enjoy an afternoon here learning the finer points of preparing California rolls and seafood delicacies from Chef Toyo during his Sunday sushi classes.

This peaceful setting is also the perfect venue to savor Chef Toyo’s renowned Asian fare including sparkling fresh sashimi, warmly comforting bowls of sukiyaki beef stew, and masterfully prepared sushi. Chef Toyo will be happy to work with you to create a menu customized to your event’s needs at a truly reasonable price drawing upon Ichiban’s comprehensive dinner menu. There are also specialties exclusive to Damo, including the Salmon Ibbiki. This is a whole fish feast for fifteen people, including teriyaki, sashimi or nigiri sushi, grilled salmon collar, and a multitude of exquisite sushi rolls.

Ø Class Fee: $50 plus Tax per Person (All materials included)

Use of the DAMO Room

Rates and Payment

·         Rental Rate: $50/hr

·         Rental Hours and Minimum Food Order Amount (Excluding Tax, Drink and Tips)

Lunch (11 AM-2 PM Tue. through Sat.): Max.3hrs, Min. Order$250

Dinner (5 PM-9 PM Tue. through Sun.): Min.3hrs, Max.4hrs, Min. Order $400

·         Contract and Payment

Contract 2 weeks prior to event with 20% deposit payment which is refundable if cancelled before 1week of the event. (The deposit non refundable after that)

The Balance of the payment is due in full on the day of the event.

Alcoholic Beverages

DAMO Room is licensed to serve liquor which will be limited to champagne, wine, Sake and beer. Relevant rules will be strictly applied.

Guest Arrival/Departure

The time line will assure for adequate set up and clean up time. Guest tend to arrive about 30 min. before the event. Guest departure must conclude by agreed time line for clean up.
